Okay, so before work two mornings ago, as I was watching the Wendy Williams Show (like I always do), Wendy said something I found hilarious/to which I could relate. My computer sits right next to me, and even though I had never done so before, I turned to it and sent Wendy a message about how I totally got what she was saying.
The next morning I missed a call from someone at the Wendy Williams show! Long story short: Wendy was going to read my letter on air!
So what was the topic?
*Exaggerated sigh*
Eating off of the floor/out of the garbage.
To the Wendy people:
Why?
To my stupid self:
Of all the things you have said to Wendy through the tv, THIS is what you had to actually type up and send?
Right.
The floor thing I could care less about, but the garbage - I don't want that broadcasted on national tv without an explanation! Please! Lol. (And just so you know, I would never eat something that I didn't just watch go into a relatively clean trash on some sort of plate, box or wrapper.)
Luckily, our relationship (Wendy's and mine) is resilient and I have great sense of humor. PLUS, even though I do think hearing someone talk about me eating out of the garbage on television is embarrassing as all Hell, and I don't appreciate being paraphrased, I am still super excited to hear Wendy talk to me through the tv for once =].
On that note, I think this blog by Andy Wright on SFWeekly addresses this subject in an interesting way...haha.
