On Friday, my favorite blogger, Shannon Eileen ( *Happiness Is...* ), wrote about this Michigan couple, Scott and Cheryl White, who - inspired by paint-by-number artwork - combined their willingness to take risks, with an apparent thirst for creativity to make their living room into the unique vision you see above.
It started with a vintage paint-by-number painting they purchased from Ebay.
Scott made it into a color transparency, and he and Cheryl used a friend's projector to trace the image onto the wall.
They created a Scott-and-Cheryl version of the color chart, set up a new number scale to match, and - after gearing up with all the necessary paints, brushes, odds, and ends - they got to work.
Just eight months later, they were finished!
The finished product is a one-of-a-kind piece of conversation-sparking art, which they can not only display as delighted art enthusiasts, but also as proud artists.

This is extremely inspirational to me, and I definitely have to tip my hat to Scott and Cheryl White. Way to take a neat idea and run the distance with it - very bold!
